LastEcart built Lan Scanner to help users discover devices available on their local Wi-Fi network. This Privacy Policy explains how the application accesses and handles information.

Information the App Accesses

When you start a network scan, Lan Scanner accesses information about the current local network and checks local IP addresses for responding devices. The app may display local IP addresses and device host names when they are available.

Data Collection and Sharing

Lan Scanner does not collect, upload, sell, or share personal data or local network scan results. Network information is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to LastEcart or any external server.

Data Retention and Deletion

Lan Scanner does not maintain user accounts or store network scan results on external servers. Scan results are held temporarily while the app is being used.

You can remove locally held app information at any time by clearing the app’s data through Android settings or by uninstalling the app. Because LastEcart does not collect or retain personal data through Lan Scanner, there is no server-side user data to request for deletion.

Permissions

Lan Scanner uses network and Wi-Fi state access solely to identify the active Wi-Fi connection and perform a local network scan requested by the user.

Internet access is used only to communicate directly with devices on the local network. The app does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, files, or advertising identifier.

Third-Party Services

Lan Scanner does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party data collection services.

Children’s Privacy

Lan Scanner is a general-purpose network utility. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.

Security and Responsible Use

All network scan processing occurs locally on the user’s device. Users should scan only networks they own or are authorized to inspect.
